Hi folks! I'm at it again. I'm going for another 20 pound loss in ten weeks. I've recently had another baby, a little girl, she is now five months old and I'm ready to drop some weight.

Today's challenge: not snacking. had a terrible time yesterday. Need to cook up my chicken and rice snacks for the week.

Actual fitness: 5-mile run

Note on no caffeine and sweet-n-low: Had some headaches and fatigue yesterday afternoon with no caffeine. No headaches right now. I'd highly recommend "weaning" from coffee versus going cold turkey. I don't feel as rough because I'm weaning. No upset stomach during the run last night.

Note on picture: I made up this pototato dish on Sunday. You basically cut up some potatoes, drizzle it with olive oil and then add bacon bits, parsley flakes, and garlic flakes and bake in the oven till done and eat it with whateve dipping you like. I, unfortunatley used potatoes that had some green on the skin, thinking it would still cook just fine. Wrong. Don't use green potatoes. The ones that weren't green tasted great!

  1. I was in the snacking mood today so bad. Made myself a sugar-free hot chocolate pack for 25 calories and that has helped. Running tonight and I feel like I may just run forever to shake some stress out. Is running a stress reliever for you?

  2. glad the stomach issues seem to be calming down? hopefully they clear up completely soon!

    the potatoes look delicious! i have made some similar before (just a little oil + seasoning salts) that come out more "fry" like - except just baked in the oven of course.
