Today's challenge: Staying on-calorie, getting in work-outs and not being annoyed with weight...wait maybe that's as good thing.
Actual fitness: 3-mile lunch run, 2 1/2 mile run in evening with double work-out on 45 minute leg work-out and 45 chest and tricep work-out, and abdominals.
Note on no caffeine and no sweet-n-low: Had a little stomach upset on yesterday's lunch run. Headaches are pretty much going away. Need to get more sleep. Without caffeine, there's no replacement for lack of sleep.
Note on photo: A friend slipped me this Ferrero Rocher Hazelnut truffle last night. I've never really had one before and was quite surprised to bite into this middle and get an actual hazelnut with that smooth chocolate filling. Wow. These are good. And I calculated 75 calories. I had this with my tea last night. Very nice.

The Ferrero Rocher ARE delicious. I might go for one or two at Christmas provided I'm super close to my goal. Maybe. :)

ReplyDeleteStupid scale...honestly, I would think with as much as you work out that you're going through a muscle gain for fat loss cycle which could plateau the scale.
I mean seriously, you are a workout queen. It just doesn't seem possible that you could be gaining anything but lean muscle.
Okay, I've got to ask. How do you eat chicken & rice three times a day w/o going crazy?
Maybe I put to much emphasis on food because while I can eat the same salad every day for 3-4 days a week, I couldn't eat it multiple times a day.
Erm, that should be 'ferrero rocher'. Of course, if Gerrere Rocher is a hazelnut covered in chocolate than I'll heart that, too. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, btw, they make coconut ones, too. The hazelnut one are best IMO, but the coconut ones aren't bad.
