Today's challenge: stupid tongue still hurts; People, if at all costs, please, avoid biting your tongue! Can't talk much and have to eat with a limp.:)

Actual fitness: 60 minute leg work-out, five mile run, my abdominal routine

Note on no sweet-n-low and less caffeine: Had some very slight stomach upset on my 6 mile run last night approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes after eating. Nothing compared to the other night. Finally had some of that pumpkin spice tea...wow. Transitioning from coffee to tea with this tea will be a breeze.

Note on picture: Picked up some Jolly Rancher flavored Blue Bunny brand Bomb Pops the other night. Top flavor is watermelon, lemon and green apple. If you like tart, this is the bomb. Again Blue Bunny does this ice cream treat up right for only ....count 'em 40 calories!

I Reorganized My Drawers

Hi, folks!

I've been waiting...hmm... let me see... about 18 weeks to reorganize my dresser drawers. Yes, I understand...what's so great about waiting 18 weeks to do some domestic related housework like reorganizing your dresser drawers?

More like...how boring. Right?

Well, now that all depends. Because let's face it. If you don't know by now, I don't necessarily keep my house in the most perfect order. "Messes overwhelm me' is my standard line. But for the past 18 weeks there's been something happening in my dresser drawers.

Bras that used to fit...don't.

Panties that used to fit....don't.

Shirts that used to fits...I drown in.

Pants that used to fit...are falling off me.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think that someone else had moved into my house and started taking up residence...well, a smaller resident space that is.

Because when I reach into my dresser drawers, I've been pulling out things that don't fit.

So, yesterday, I pulled out a bag that I hadn't seen in a long time. It represented a time from a smaller time. It had things in it that fit a smaller person. I pulled those things out and put them in my drawer. All the while, I took out the things that no longer fit and put them away.

People, I have a whole new wardrobe just because I lost some weight. I will admit, I tend to think that this wardrobe is going to be much more fun to wear than my other wardrobe.

I also went through my closet and tried on some clothes...just to make sure... that I knew what did and didn't fit me. I mean what if I have to go somewhere where I need to dress up? I really don't want to spend an hour trying to find something to wear that simply fits me.

Oh, the extra work put upon me because of this weight loss.

Oh, well, I think I'll somehow manage to find a way to get through it all, reorganizing dresser drawers and all.
