Hi folks! I'm at it again. I'm going for another 20 pound loss in ten weeks. I've recently had another baby, a little girl, she is now five months old and I'm ready to drop some weight.

Today's challenge: I probably shouldn't have had this ice cream today at the buffet, especially since I'd already had a cinnamon roll. I also shouldn't have eaten the nutty bar. The nutty bar happened because we had given the kids some nutty bars as a treat, and my two younger ones decided they didn't want to finish their nutty bars...so, I figure the equivalent of a few bites of there nutty bars equaled one nutty bar. I still have some in the house that I just need to throw away, because those things are high calorie and I really like them. Not a good combination.
Today's high light: I did enjoy a very nice salad at the buffet today, which I also photographed for later.
Actual fitness: Another off day. I actually don't feel too guilty about taking another day off because I know that it just gives my knee another day to heal. Plus, I know that I'm not in a hurry. Granted I have a race planned for next Saturday, but if my knee isn't completely healed, I don't think it makes sense to run it. And if getting it healed means taking days off...then that's just what needs to happen.
Note on photo: This ice cream treat was delicious. I estimated it at 200 calories since most plain Jane ice creams are about 150 calories per half cup. This container looked like it was a 1/2 cup serving. The sprinkles on it are actually filled with chocolate and there is also some what appear to be chocolate shavings and some crumbled cookies.

  1. I absolutely love frozen yogurt. It is one of the best treats out there. Your picture made my mouth water. Greg has these blueberry pop tarts in the apartment. I don't even care for pop tarts much, but for some reason they call me sometimes. I had him take them to work recently so that he has snacks there and they don't tempt me here. I don't even know why I am rambling on about pop tarts, but your nutty bars made me think.
