Today's challenge: I was doing fine until my husband brought several little baggies of home made goodies that a friend at work had made. Despite that, I feel like I did well. I think I need to be a little better prepared with my protein and carb dishes.
Actual fitness: 50 minute chest and triceps work-out and abdominals. This work-out felt great tonight.
Note on knees: Nothing much to report. I may be "testing" them again tomorrow.
Note on picture: Doesn't this look good? This bunch of candy is in just one of the little baggies that my husband brought home from work. And the truffles? Wow. They are filled with red velvet cake that is mixed with frosting and then, of course, dipped in chocolate. I even have the recipe. Cake and chocolate lovers...THIS is the bomb!!
My wife is pretty fit, though she is agonizing over 10 pounds she picked up this past summer and is frustrated that it won't come off. Like a doggie hoping to please its master, I've brought home goodies like a bag of M&Ms I muscled out of the vending machine because they were 'hanging' but not dispensed.
ReplyDeleteI knew she'd enjoy them, but it doesn't mean I should have brought them home. Of course, she has the choices to make too. I didn't eat them even though they were FREE and I always eat FREE food. (I curl up in my office in the corner during recent 'food days').
So much more I'd like to say, but perhaps I should save it for a blog...
Merry Christmas!
I"m baking a Red Velvet cake today with marscapone cheese icing! Hope your kids are wired right up for tonight!!!
