Join Me For Another 10 Weeks! This is the first week of ten weeks starting October 22, 2012

Hi folks! I'm at it again. I'm going for another 20 pound loss in ten weeks. I've recently had another baby, a little girl, she is now five months old and I'm ready to drop some weight.

Better Than An Oreo...

These chocolate covered creme filled cookies are in the Newman's Own Organics give-a-way box that you can sign up here for. We had some guests over tonight who said they already knew about these cookies and preferred them to Oreo cookies.

Newman's Own Organics also had ginger covered creme filled cookies...

chocolate covered chocolate filled cookies and chocolate covered peppermint filled cookies.

However, as you can see the most popular cookie was the chocolate covered cream filled cookie.

We don't normally give our kids these kinds of treats.
I was in the kitchen when I looked out and saw that they
had discovered something about these cookies.
You can pull them apart...

And then lick off the cream.
Of course that's just a kid thing...
None of my followers actually do that sort of thing
Right?
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, folks!
Sorry I've been MIA on everyone's blogs lately. Will soon remedy that.
Have just been very busy lately
Have been very tired lately
Have been taking naps lately
Because I had to quit coffee
Because it made me want to gag.
--------------------------------
I ate some of that Newman's Own Organic Popcorn
with their organic olive oil tonight....Hmm, mmm
Did you know there's 330 calories in the whole bag?
And with the olive oil? Probably a few hundred more.
But, honestly, today I just am not eating much.
(except the popcorn, of course)
I get full really fast, and then I don't feel like eating
for hours and hours.
I really had to push to get my fried egg whites
down my throat this morning.
-------------------------------------
Other than that, my weight has went up
about 1 1/2 to 2 pound since I got pregnant
They say that is normal for eight weeks along.
But I don't think that is a necessary weight gain,
So, I would like to have that weight drop back down.
My weight goal for my first trimester would be to remain the same weight.
They say a three to four pound gain is normal
by the end of the first trimester.
That's not a whole lot of weight to gain;
So, I think remaining the same weight
is possible and healthy.
In the research that I've done,
It is not necessary for a woman to eat any extra calories
in the first trimester.
The baby will just take what it needs from mama's body.
And it makes sense,
Because many women experience nausea,
will throw up, and can't eat much...
It's the second trimester when a women should
increase her calories by 200 to 300 calories.
--------------------------------------
Here's a little interesting fact about me.
In all of my other pregnancies,
I would always gain
20 pounds
In the first trimester.
Things are going to be different this time around.
I'll be visiting you all soon!
Have a nice night!
Sincerely,
Sunshine Mama

  2. Wow, I have heard about the 1st trimester and only gaining a few pounds. I always hear people say they are eating for two, but isn't it amazing how our bodies can give nutrients to a growing baby. What a gift! Keep taking those naps. That baby will come out well rested and ready to go! Haha, what if the baby can do push ups early on? Just joking!!

I have a secret. I LOVE Oreos. I do not buy them because I can not be trusted if they are lurking around the apartment. I have faced the realization that I am a strong girl, but Oreos are often stronger. I am going to have to try these organic cookies. I love the natural idea of them and know that Oreos are filled with processed ingredients and sugar I don't need. Maybe without all the un-natural stuff luring me in, it would be better all around.

I left a novel of a comment next door at Our Darling Kids today. I might have gotten fired up a bit. Ha. Enjoy your Sunday with your family and relax.
