Today's challenge: Hydration, Keeping track of calories throughout the day--need to be doing that to stay on track
Actual fitness: 2-mile run, 50 minute leg work-out, my abdominal routine
Note on queasy stomach, Day 1 of no sweet-n-low: I still had a queasy stomach yesterday, but it didn't "seem" as bad. Also, my stomach didn't start getting queasy on my run until half-way through it. So, we'll see how the week goes, if the queasiness continues, I might have a gastro-intestional bug, or I could discontinue coffee and see what that does.
Note on Picture: We had an informal Blue Bunny Volcano Lava Hot Cinnamon taste test a few nights ago. Our 14-year-old daughter, Darling Rose, is hamming it up here, but she said it was definitely hot.
Are These Things Hot?
Consider These Picts...
To answer your first question, no, I didn't have our kids eat hot bomb pops for my diet blog.
It was Sunday night. After eating dinner we told the kids to go into the freezer to get themselves some ice cream. We have several boxes to choose from. Usually they grab the box that has a combination of chocolate covered ice cream bars, or ice cream sandwhiches. I also had two full boxes of all American Blue Bunny bomb pops.
Three came out with these already unwrapped Blue Bunny Volcano Lava Hot cinnamon Bomb Pops.
I said, "Are you sure you want to eat these? They are hot."
They said, "yes."
"What's an opportunistic diet blogging mother to do? Take pictures of course."

Picture 1 : Our energetic 7-year old's reaction.

Oh, I haven't even eaten one of these yet, but I think the gel in the middle make these things pretty messy.
