Join Me For Another 10 Weeks! This is the first week of ten weeks starting October 22, 2012

Hi folks! I'm at it again. I'm going for another 20 pound loss in ten weeks. I've recently had another baby, a little girl, she is now five months old and I'm ready to drop some weight.

Happy Belated Mother's Day

Happy Belated Mother's Day everyone!
How is everyone? I wouldn't know because I really haven't spent much time anywhere near the computer in like...three days. I was going to blog last night...and then got into a phone conversation that lasted awhile...
So, I departed from blog world for few days. I'm really sorry about leaving you all hanging about Fantasy Food Friday. I had really meant to write something that day, but it was also the day we were leaving town and with getting all those preparations in place...the post took a back seat.
Mother's Day was wonderful. Our seven-year-old son picked out and arranged these flowers for Mother's Day. Then...there was "Super Dad"...

He was the breakfast king and set about making a wonderful Mother's Day breakfast.

Pancakes

bacon

Then, Dandy Lion helped with the egg omelet.

That Daddy Rainmaker made for me.

There was bacon...

and some cheese...

I definitely felt spoiled.

We did make it to church and had someone take our family's picture.
-------------------------------------------------------
So, it was a nice day.
I hope all you Mother's got treated special too.
Other than that, I started out today eating well, and then got off track in the afternoon with some Mother's Day chocolate.
But I did get to the gym tonight to work out and I feel good about that.

  1. Hi there! Great family photo. You guys look very happy and that is beautiful to see. How are you feeling Sunshine Mama? How is the peanut doing? Your Mother's Day flowers are gorgeous and that breakfast looks like I should come over for my next meal! Ha = )

Greg is doing pretty good. He got a second opinion yesterday to be on the safe side. He is going to have surgery on Friday. They are going to put him to sleep and do a knee scope. They did this while we were in college too, so we are pros at it by now. They will clean out the scar tissue. He has some fluid in there too. Since he has already had his meniscus repaired once, they will simply shave out the torn part this time. He will have the weekend to recover and only be on crutches a week or so. Physical therapy will follow, so he is in good hands.

I am going to get everything ready around the apartment to get him set up in the living room for the weekend. The doctors say this is a very speedy recovery. He will be just fine. Amen!
