Today's victory: Not a single snack today. I've re-vamped my diet as you can see by my food diary and I was able to stick to it today.
Actual fitness: 60 minute leg work-out, abdominals, 38 minute run for about 4 miles.

The New Diet Plan
Good Monday everyone.
I've decided to embark on a different diet plan over the next few weeks to see how it goes.
Here are the basics:
*135 grams of protein a day
*no sugar
*no flour
*boatload of vegetables
*lots of water
*a few tablespoons of good fat
*no snacking
I took this menu from a body building magazine where the idea is to build lean muscle while reducing your body fat.
I will say that I don't think I've ever eaten this much vegetables in my life... all in one day.
Also, I don't think I've ever cut sugar or flour from my diet either...
Or have committed myself to absolutely no snacking.
So, this is day one and so far so good. I'll be posting pictures this week of how all this food looks.
Wow. That is an impressive diet plan. I think it would be very difficult to cut flour and sugar out of my diet completely. I can't wait to read your updates and see how this works for you.
ReplyDeleteYou are a brave soul. It will interesting how your gorgeous body responds!
ReplyDeletei think part of our snacking-habits come from the idea that we "must" snack throughout the day. i mean, from a young age we are always having snack times you know?
ReplyDeleteanyway, it sounds interesting and it certainly doesn't hurt to clean up and eat healthy! you can do it girl :)
Holy Crap Sunshine! That sounds like a toughie!
ReplyDeleteNo snacking...there is my downfall this week.
I am going to have to stalk you for the next week & see how you are doing & what exactly you are eating. :) As if I'm not already reading, lol.
Best of luck & I hope you get the results you are wanting from it!
